If you can’t do something right, don’t do it at all. That statement rings true for the life of a Maximizer. To a Maximizer, nothing is worth doing unless it is done with superiority and excellence.
How do they think?
They are constantly looking for strengths in others and themselves to be able to stimulate excellence. They are not interested in making something into ordinary or average. It’s only worth their effort if they can make something or someone into the extraordinary.
How do they feel?
Maximizers are fascinated by people’s strengths and the only investment of their time is worth it if they can turn and oyster into a pearl. They love the challenge that comes along with seeing something through unto greatness. In fact, that is the only investment that is worth it.
How do they behave?
They are discriminative with their time and the people and causes they invest themselves into. If they don’t see something that is on board with their commitment to excellence, they move on. You will not catch a Maximizer talking about weaknesses because to them there is no point. They only want to focus on production that will lead to greatness.
